An Easter Time

We had a great time yesterday, gathering a few families, and converging on Mark's house.

I brought smoked salmon platter.

Mark and his Mom greeted the arriving (other) Dowds. So did Westy.

I did not stop talking once all day. Here I am discussing the finer points of surgery with my sister Ann.

Some Corey womenfolk. MB and Mark had spit-shined the house; the place looked great.

Dad and Ann.

Mike, Beth and Shauna Dowd.

And Mark, the grill meister. The grill guru. The grill genius.

A couple of Dowd brothers . . .
.
. . . and a couple of Corey sisters.

There were tulips everywhere.

The table for 15 was set beautifully . . .

. . . and the meal was divine.

Christina got a new jump rope . . .
.
. . . and she and Shauna became fast friends.
.
Nothing screams Easter like watching baseball on a giant high-def plasma tv.

Or watching the Masters.

He's going for the putt . . .

It's in the hole!
.
Wait, which doc is my Dad?

No, really. I can't tell them apart.

Angel -- who Mom called Devil -- won it all . . .

. . . and took home the green jacket.
.
Mistah and Dewey.

Sometimes, I've found, at night . . .

. . . the photos get fuzzy . . .

. . . and so do the peeps.

It was a fabulous time. Thanks for all the fun, kids.

And good luck today, Ann. Go get 'em, kid.

  3. Looks like a great day! What an impressive table, Mark and Mar are becoming so domestic! I am so very proud that my biggest sister managed to sneak her middle finger in once again. She is an inspiration.

Constant Contact today. Looking forward to good news.

  4. Looks like a good time was had by all!
I always think holidays should have lots of guests. My husband likes small. We had 3 small parties which kind of met both of our needs.
