Last weekend we went to a wine fest in North Stonington, CT.
Yum. Wine.
It was a great day. Everywhere you looked the peeps were drinking the wine.
Including our very specifically motley crew.
A festival dedicated solely to wine.
How great is that?
Elizabeth loves wine. Clearly. The more glasses the better.
So does Tracey. And so do I.
.
And so does Mister Dibble.
I only had to kick Mister Dibble's ass once.
.
The people-watching was great.
.
Riveting.
.
Especially when Mister Man-Skirt went by.
.
At the wine fest, Chris -- our vineyard friend, and the reason we all were there -- was our hard-working host . . .
. . . and then back at the ranch farm Dibble house Air Stream, Mister Dibble and the lovely Elizabeth were.
Hsin really loved the Air Stream.
Oh, 'scuze us, Hsin. NoSto is famous for its chickens . . .
.
. . . and for Elizabeth, its world-famous chicken-whisperer.
Tracey and Katie? They love the chickens.
Really, really love them.
And Elizabeth? She just loves life..
What's not to love?
Ever so much thanks to Hsin and Dibble/Elizabeth for the photos.....

The Man-Skirt is a "Utili-Kilt." We know a guy who both wears them and sells them at events like Scottish games. Lots of pockets and tool loops for the skirted utili-man. We are not convinced...
ReplyDeleteThe female to male ratio seems to be very much in Mistah's favor, especially in the hot tub.
ReplyDeleteAh, hot tubs and wine....how lovely!
Beth
I just wish you guys would learn to relax and have fun sometimes. All work and no play... you know what they say.
ReplyDeleteJacquie
What Jacquie said. Also, I've said this before, but are you guys for real? Do you ever just flake out in front of the TV or yell at each other or not be in the midst of a deliriously cool social frolic complete with alcohol and cameras?
ReplyDeleteMartyjoco, we are not convinced either.
ReplyDeleteBeth, yes, Mistah was pretty happy. Mister D. wasn't too sad himself.
Jacqueline, this *is* work! Research.
Xup, we do not have a tv, and neither of us is really a yeller (or, for that matter, yeller-bellied); we use other tactics to cope with being annoyed by the other, honed by years of living with eachother in the Westy. Reading. And booze. We are, tragically, NOT always the midst of a deliriously cool social frolic, but there is ALWAYS booze. And, usually, the camera.
Ellie
Chickens! YES!
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is: thanks for editing the pictures Ellie! Phew! Now I don't have to worry about indecent photos of me popping up all over the internet.
ReplyDeleteIt was a GREAT day. I'm so glad I got to spend it with fabulous people and lots of wine.
Mistah look's pretty happy there.
ReplyDeleteCan we go back to the man skirt? Huh?
Any gathering becomes a party when you add chickens! Looks like a lovely time was had by all. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou guys are so boring ;)
ReplyDeleteI see at least two of you were smart enough to wear shirts that wouldn't show a red wine stain!
