After a 2 day return to San Diego to check in at work, do laundry, re-pack, and grab the remaining members of the family, we sent off for northern Arizona. Our first stop was Sedona, where we spent 5 nights with my family.
The first full day there was the 4th of July. It was a good holiday regardless of the lack of boomers -- we did have our swag.
And we learned that evening at the Oak Creek Brewery that little miss C is neither left or right handed when it comes to pasta.
The rest of the days we played at the pool
and hit the creek,
where my brother impressed us with his mad crayfish-catching abilities.
Dinner anyone? |
We enjoyed the gorgeous vistas,
learned how to drive,
What? You didn't think I'd start her out in a Jeep did you? |
and just generally enjoyed being with our mother/nonnie/cousins/siblings/in-laws/children

Oh, how adorable! My favorite is Pat/Nonnie's arrival -- warms a girl's heart to see; I can only imagine how a Nonnie's heart must feel.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing you all together -- looks absolutely lovely, Western Girl.

So nice to see everyone together! Now, when will I see *you*???? Are you free for sushi any time before the 22nd? Or come to the dance recital at Emiliano's on Tuesday night....
