A Little Nuts

Doesn't Jacquie's Westy Vacation look calm and serene and bucolic? That's the great thing about the Westy. You can live in it and drive it around and around the country for the better part of 8 years, and it can be an oasis of calmness, serenity and bucolic-ocity.

But sometimes, things can get a little nuts.

Things can get a little nuts on the road . . .

Totally Nuts.

Super Nuts.

Incredibly Nuts.

And things can get a little nuts on the short drive from Norwalk to Fairfield Connecticut, after a heartwrenching, emotional voyage.

Jacquie's girl, a Westy owner herself, knows the ins and outs of the rig, and appears to be everywhere at once.

There are arms and legs and bodies and coolers and beachtowels and beer.

There is always lots of beer.

There is also conviviality and comfort (well, of the emotional kind) and warmth and more legs.

And there is the girl, everywhere. Fixing something she undoubtedly broke in her frantic hurry to, you know, do something. She's a calamity on wheels, that one. She's also loving and helpful and hilarious and energetic and cooperative.

And a little nuts.

  1. She is a goober for the ages, that girl. You should see my westy right now. I could definitely contribute to the"nuts" gallery.

    Love!

  3. You're nuts too, Ellie, you know that right?

But it's good to be nuts. What fun would life be if we weren't all a little nuts?

Now being a Westy owner, that is not nuts. That is complete clarity of mind. Complete. Sigh.

    xo,
