Game 7, Baby.

Can you believe that game last night?

And tonight? Game Seven, baby. Last game seven of the World Series was 2002. That's nine years ago.

St. Lous and Texas in the last game of the baseball season, tonight.

Almost makes me want to break into song:

(Instead of the Jets and the Sharks, just pretend they're the Cardinals and the Rangers.)

Play Ball!

  2. I am with you Ellie, and feel vindicated since it was the Rangers (were the rangers?) that knocked little Tampa Bay off in the first round.

  4. Excellent plan! My girl and I will watch West Side Story and pray that Daddy's brain doesn't blow out of his ear holes. (The boy's got another man-date)

  5. Loved watching that video, Ellie --not as much as my husband enjoyed watching that game last night though, I don't think. Man, he was fired up!

Hope tonight's game is as much as a nail biter as last night. Although, of course, I wouldn't want Mr Can's brain to blow out of his ear holes!

    xoxo,

  7. Game 7, Baby!! (in PA)October 28, 2011 at 2:16 PM

Still can't believe I was without TV, radio (except 2 innings from the car) and internet since we picked Game 6 to move...but NOT tonight. The cable guy is sitting here as I write so I don't even have to keep looking for a radio in all these boxes :)

So glad you were able to enjoy it..I don't want to say who I hope wins because that might jinx some American League team!

  8. Well, to be completely accurate, Mom, we listened to the game on the radio -- the ESPN radio guys are great -- with the gamecast on espn.com to keep everything straight.

And *then* today I got to watch the game in its entirety! On MLB at the Tavern.

So excited for tonight -- Game 7 *and* lefties!
