We did not partake in the local F1 hybrid, so far as I know, but we did log a lot of family and beach time, and had an overall great visit to the country's 50th state. We were 9 in total, and we mixed it up quite a bit...
We had duos
Frousins |
More frousins |
And sisters |
And aunts and nieces |
And mothers and daughters |
Plus new friends |
And more frousins |
We had trios
Airport shot going west |
Boots plus upper thigh -- my brother is going to have his hands full. |
New friends with newer, half-naked friends |
Airport going east |
We had solos
Solos with fire, even.
(Scary guy who climbs up black rock and dives off) |
And even more fire. And less clothes. |
And conch shells and stories |
We also had some larger groups
Onstage at luau, about to get their hula on |
Post muddy, slippery waterfall hike |
Happy Thanksgiving!!! (Can you believe that's the first Thanksgiving dinner I've ever had with all of my kids? I may have had to go to Maui to do it, but it was definitely worth it!) | | |
We also put in a wee little bit of drinking time
My bro is a righteous mixologist |
And our hotel had cute beach bar, with a 2 - 6 pm happy hour |
But mostly? Mostly we had incredible views
Loved waking up to this view. |
Aloha, Maui.
What a wonderful recap! On,y ten more years and we can do it again.
