Playing chicken

My boyfriend's house sits at the top of a big hill overlooking the ocean. It really is an incredible view. I am struck by it every time I go there.

But I don't think my kids even noticed when we visited last week. And it was their first time there.

All they wanted to do was play chicken.

Meet Tanner

And Mark and Bobby (Yes, that is a reference to Mark from this past season's Survivor.)

And Blue
There were at least two other little chickens there, but they are yet to be named. Stay tuned...

  1. They are adorable (the girls, I mean).
You've seen one chicken you have seen them all.

  2. I have eyeballs only for your gorgeous girls. But the kiddies sure do love the chickies, though -- there and here. Chickens schmickens I say, except: eggs. I *love* the homemade eggies. Are they good producers? Earning their chicken feed?

    Cheep cheep,

  4. Ha ha, indeed. ;)

The little chickens are actually David's but it's all in the family, right?

And they aren't yet old enough to lay eggs. They're still little guys/gals. I guess once they pass the 5 month mark it's on. Fresh eggies all around
