It's important to groom the next generation of Field Rangers . . .
To imbue a love of the land and a love of the flowers and a love of the Field to our youngest friends . . .
. . . I think we're succeeding.
We had a visit from some of our favorite girls on Sunday, and it was delightful to see them, and they pretended they were happy to see us, but let's face it: their visit was about one thing and one thing only . . .
Their friend Ozzy.
They adore this kid.
And who can blame them?
Before Himself arrived, we busied ourselves with snacks and drinks and general Field Shenanigans . . .
And then . . .
the Star of the Show arrived and the girls became very busy supervising his every move . . .
They never let him out of their sight . . .
. . . or out of their reach . . .
. . . and they brought him presents!
Ozzy didn't quite know what to make of his insta-fan-club . . .
. . . but he loved it.
He loved it a lot.
These girls . . .
