We have excellent neighbors on our little deadend street. I may have
mentioned that
before.
Lately, though, we've become friends with another neighbor from down the road who's been, um, rolling over lately.
She's a very slow roller.
She drops by with her dad and her brother . . .
. . . who are
also neighborly fun-lovers . . .
. . . and their mom's pretty great too.
It's the kids, though, who hold a special place in our hearts. They're funny and goofy and silly and tough --there is a
lot of falling down when they're on their wheeled apparatuses.
Did I mention goofy?
Plus they love us.
And why not? We're good neighbors.
You gotta love those strap-on roller skates. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteI bet the visits with your younge friends are better when they come without their parents, no? Kids seem to say the funniest things when mom and dad are out of earshot.
Cute!

that would be "young" :-)

Hmmm, I guess they're pretty cute. Cute enough to stand in for MY kids, at least for the moment. Just don't you go giving them toothpick swords for dueling.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for next month!!

Look at those two cuties, sitting on the curb.

I love the pic's of the two of you on the curb. You guys seem to attract young ones, left and right. Must be cause you're so sweet!
