Obviously.
(And by the way. Six weeks? Six weeks? Aye-yah-yie.)
But there have also been, these last six weeks, moments of Joy. Of glory and happiness and frivolity and of pure unadulturated Joy.
There's been Joy at Ocean Beach . . .
. . . ah, the Joy of OB. . . .
. . . especially when the Brits are in town, and the camera's in Mistah's hand . . .
And we've found Joy at Citi Field . . .
. . . especially when the Brits are in town, and the camera's in Mistah's hand . . .
And we've found Joy at Citi Field . . .
And we've found Joy at Mom's condo pool . . .
. . . oh, the Joy of the condo pool . . .
As Jacquie mentioned the other day, it's been the kids -- my 8 fabulous nieces and nephews -- who have risen to the occasion and kept us entertained and relatively sane, and who seem always able to find Joy. Who, literally, Jump . . .

Ellie,
You SO get what it (being "life") is truly all about. May I say that your vibe reminds me so of your Dad? I feel like your post is exactly what he'd want to be hearing from you right now.
Love (and early Happy Birthday!!)
Liz
