He was just a little munchkin out there on the deck a few years ago . . . .
But he grew . . .
2013 |
. . . and he grew . . .
. . . and this summer he really grew.
A couple of weeks ago I got home from work and whoa-ho! Look what I spied . . .
Big Cacti blew out a blossom . . .
. . . after almost 50 years of Big-Cacti-ness . . .
. . . and quite a lovely blossom it was, too . . .
. . . although to be perfectly honest, it smelled badly. In the interest of full disclosure, it, as Mistah would way, stunk royally.
But it was so pretty!
Whoopsie!
Yeah, Big Cacti voided her blossom.
Big Cacti don't need no stinkin' blossom.
White fluff means one thing and one thing only.
New growth, baby.
Big Cacti, how big are you going to get??
We're gonna need a bigger house.

"Big Cacti don't need no stinkin' blossom." Ha ;)
Who needs a blossom when you just keep reaching for the sky? Impressive indeed! At some point you'll need to call back the roofers to admire the blossoms...

Big cactus is a succulent for the ages, man. A tall drink of water, if you will. Will you?
