Just another boring day at school...

Here's a short post from my adorable, smart, athletic, currently hurting middle daughter.

You won't believe what happened to me the other day. I was in the car driving to school and when I got out I was about to close the door when I remembered my little sister was still in the back seat. I tried to stop the door from closing so I put my thumb in the way and it got smashed in the car door. I started crying and clutched my thumb. When I got to the nurses office I had to dip my thumb in cold water.  And then when I took it out my nail was blue and purple and it started to swell; the nurse told me to put ice on it and to go to class. After about three hours it stopped hurting so much and I was able to get thru the rest of the boring day at school.

OUCH!
