The Yellow And The Purple

What says late summer more than yellow and purple?

They come alive at the same time, and they look ever so gorgeous together . . . 

I've always loved purple . . . 

. . . but I'm a big fan of the yellow too.

I mean, I know a lot of yellowbellies, but yellow is a lot more than the bellies they define. 

Just look at those hues. The purple of the morning glory . . . 

. . . and the yellow of the golden rod . . . 

. . . the purple butterfly bush and the iconic yellow flowers . . . they love eachother.

And also?

My favorite friend in all the Land . . . . 

. . . the honeybee.

She embodies both.
