The White Stuff

It snowed yesterday.

Can somebody please tell me why I'm not in Florida?

Actually, it looked sort of pretty when we woke up. And it didn't seem to snow on the roads at all, which we all agreed was very considerate.
It snowed later in the day, too, but that didn't amount to much.

Still. Sunday afternoon? Snow on the ground melted? The heat on in the house?
There's only one thing to do at a time like this.

Billy and Jennie and Ellie and Ricky and Eileen and Owen? All in the same house? At the same time?

Well, Cheers.

Snow... ooooh, very very purdy. Love the new header on your page!

I'd opt for hot buttered rum in a case like that -- and leave the Bloody Marys for a warmer day.

In fact, we're expecting freeing rain/snow/cooooooold today into tomorrow -- I better make sure I have all the essentials (butter, check; rum, check; sugar, check!)

And, hey, Beth, I see you're reading Geraldine Brooks: I recently finished Nine Parts of Desire by Brooks, and loved it!

Ours didn't stick, just flew threateningly in our faces for five minutes before blowing out of town. Evidently, north!

Ewwwwwww. Not the drinkies, natch. The cold. Why aren't you in SAN DIEGO, silly?

I'd love more feedback on the new look - glad you like it, Di! I sprung it on my poor unsuspecting co-bloggers.

Both the snow-covered trees and the Bloddy Mary's look divine, Ellie. The compnay looks not half bad either.

P.S. Jacquie, I like the new header :-)

I like the new header. You can keep the snow down there, thanks.

Awwww - I really like the white stuff. Ours didn't really stick enough, except to make the roadways a little slick.

Great snow pics, but I'd have to have the vodka stright up.
