Silver

Mistah and I found ourselves in the unique position of celebrating our -- wait for it -- Silver Wedding Anniversary last week. That's 25 years of Bliss, baby.

So we did what any law-abiding, Silver-celebrating, life-lovin' peeps would do . . .

. . . we rented a house on The Cape.

I know, right??

And to celebrate this momentous occasion, we're doing something a little different today. We're going with photos not from the glorious camera, but from the lowly phone.

As my dentist Dr. Bourbon would say, bear with me.

We got to the house . . .

. . . and on Tuesday we woke up to possibly the most beautiful day in the history of the planet . . .

. . . except maybe for the selfsame day 25 years earlier . . .

. . . aw . . .

Mistah surprised me with flowers and champagne and earrings . . . and took my photo with the camera . . . oh, just disregard what I said earlier . . .

. . . and then out we went into the world.

. . . and oh, what a world it is.

Oysters?

Every day.

Chowder on a trip to Provincetown?

Of course.

Beach excursions?

Daily.

And the best and most fabulous part of all?

. . . were those afternoons on the deck . . .

. . . just me and my Schleck.
