I woke up last night at 3:05 AM to the sound of my leaky toilet. I couldn't get back to sleep right away, and realized I had not yet written or even come up with a subject for today's post, so I composed this early morning haiku, for you:
Dripping through the night
Showering the dark with sound
Broken toilet dreams

I just fixed my "running toilet" ... changed the flapper and lowered the arm.
This was on Good Morn America ...
A couple couldn't figure out why their water bill was so high. Nothing was broken. The hubs was home from work ill and kept hearing something ... problem solved:

So, did you come up with the Haiku while lying awake listening to your toilet malfunction? That's funny...
Great video, Nancy

Well, yes, yes I did, Jacquie.
I even scribbled it down on the back of a nearby receipt, although I of course forgot to bring it with me this morning, so recomposed it from memory here in the office.

Not much of a worse sound at night than running water in the house. Funny haiku!
