Oh, what a week this has been! We're headed home on this fine first day of August, and it shouldn't surprise you to know that Ellie and I will both surely bombard you with stories and images over the next few lifetimes. But right now I need to savor the final few hours of our visit out in the world with my peeps rather than in front of the computer, so I'll just give you a quick visual of the various places we've been, gangsta style:

a bit of a bummer that we passed thru Milford and stopped in Groton during our family reunion in Maine, and I didn't get to see Corey girls, live and in person, nor see the infamous Westy...
maybe next year!
