It looked like this July was going to be the best one ever, but clearly it was not.

However, it's August now. August 6, to be exact.

One year ago today, I was here


anxiously awaiting the scalpel.

And then all of a sudden, there she was



Baby girl is 1 today!!

It's been a good year, one of many firsts, naturally.

First spit bubble (okay, perhaps not the first, but the only one of which I have a photo)

First finding her tongue

First finding her feet

First (and only) nanny
First ride in a swing

First "solid" food

First visit with her cousin
