Hurricane
He created havoc with the Atlantic Ocean waves in Rhode Island. The lifeguards at Watch Hill wouldn't let anyone go in the water.

.
We were on the beach by 10:30 Saturday morning, and Mother Nature and her boy toy Hurricane Billy-Boy put on a spectacular show.
.
There were, as one lifeguard said to us, "ten footahs".
Wading on the shore you could feel the wicked undertow and see the rip tide.

Nice photos, Ellie. Looks exciting.
I once got stuck in a bar in Ocean City, MD during the start of a hurricane....not the worse place to be stranded...

Very good photos. The headlines today said Bill was "disappointing" like they wanted the hurricane to kill a few people and wreak some major destruction...sheesh
Those are beautiful photos, I love those big crashy waves. XUP, I guess one 7 year old victim wasn't enough drama =(
I once got stuck in a ditch during a hurricane in Fort Pierce, FL. Quite possibly the worst place to be stranded.

Amazing pictures! We never get waves like that over here. Not that that is a bad thing.
