Actually, her official name is Southwest Ledge Lighthouse, and yesterday she turned 100 years old.
. . . when we're at the beach . . .
She was the subject of our 2008 Christmas card . . ..
But the best part of Ledgie is the magic she brings. Say, for example, you find yourself on the back porch on the first day after Daylight Savings Time, when the sun is coming in the room at its new autumnal and earlier angle, and it catches a photo of Ledgie, and a glass of wine, just right . . .
. .
.
With all those elements in place, and ol' Ledgie working her magic, you can get -- just briefly, wondrously, tantalizingly . . . .
Ledgie in a Glass.

"festooned" - good word. How does that thing live in the middle of the water? Is it floating or anchored somewhere way below the ocean floor?
That cruise ship looks like the Death Star! Damn, that's big.
She is a beauty!
OK Mistah, now keep your eye out for Ledgie in a bottle! :-)
Ledgie is my screensaver, too.

I want a lighthouse! But they're in such short supply around Dallas. Happy birthday, LedgieQ!
I'm a little bit in love with Ledgie, now!
