Fun With Refinancing

Last week Mom closed on the ReFi on her condo. Yay Mom! So we celebrated, as one does, with a bottle of champers at Gulf Beach in Milford.

Cheers, Mom.

There were a whole lot of Corey women around that day . . .

. . . just the way we like it.

We also took several thousand photos. And although I'm usually a rigorous and strict editor of photos, I like these too much to delete any. Like this one.

Or this one.

This one is borderline, but it stays in because of Jacquie's expression.

And this one stays because of Mark Dowd's outfit. We'd been raking and bagging leaves in his yard and rushed to get to the beach for sunset. That's his rationale, at least.

Mark Dowd and Mistah Schleckah have been friends since high school, and here they are now, all these years later . . .

. . . still best buddies . . .

. . . and both honorary members of the Corey family.

Poor lucky bastids.

The sunset was spectacular. Naturally. They don't call them sunsets for nothing. And we took full advantage.

Don't mind Jacquie; she can't help herself . . .

. . . she just can't . . .

. . . it's in her blood.

Margaritas, a bottle of champagne, and about 17 cameras make for lots of Fun With Photography.

Mistah was going for the "November" page for his 2011 calendar.

And . . . I think we've found our shot.

We quoted our young San Diego friend Brady, who was about 3 at the time, all afternoon: "When the sun goes down, the sunset comes up."

And when the sunset went down, we went back to The Dowd's for more frivolity.

There is nothing quite like an outdoor campfire in November . . .

. . . especially when the coke-bottle Halloween glasses come out.

Those two make quite a team.

Actually, we all  make quite a team:

And we're available for your next ReFi party.

Thanks for including even the ugliest photos of me, sister! feeling the love, feeling the love. I have about 80 billion of the same photos, although I'm certain that I looked stunning, even after yardwork. It was gorgeous out there.

It took me a moment to discern if Mom C just couldn't help herself either, but I'm now fairly certain it's not her middle finger in the photo with Mr. Dowd.

Love that Brady quote, I'd not heard that one before.

You all looked like you had yourself some fun. Shocking! Can't belive you've already gone and come back, J!

xo,
Beth
