tailgate

End of the school year hoopla getting you down? Running around like a madwoman back and forth between schools and events and office supply stores for presentation boards? Used up all of your checks for yearbooks and field trips and parties and buy in for next year's school supplies (what?)? Everyone in your house about to start a summer break while you continue to trudge off to the coal mines day after week after month after lifetime?

Chin up, little soldier.

At least you won't have to make anyone's lunch or wake anyone's lazy ass. It's Daddy's turn! Summer means fruit loops and red vines on the grocery list, sand on all surfaces, and all manner of fun times that Mom will enjoy vicariously through the peeps.

We'll still have our weekends, and this one kicks off with a bang as we head to Petco Park for our annual procurement of Padres towels.

Here comes summer!

Aint no tailgate like a Westy tailgate!

Padres towels!

I love all of your things. And your vacationing family. I'm not that big a fan of froot loops anymore, though. But as a kid? Crack.

Happy summer to your peeps. Hey, if you're at work, and they're lolling about at home? I smell the playloom project being completed.....

Really? I see them needed Jacquie for both direction and motivation, lol.

I am in love with this line, Jacquie: ..."while you continue to trudge off to the coal mines day after week after month after lifetime." SO true, right?

This is the time of year that I resent all my teacher friends. Please do NOT ever, ever, ever complain about your job. You only work a fraction of the year!! :)

Have fun at Petco this weekend! can't wait to see your swag at the beach.

Beth

I know, Beth. It's so cute how Ellie forgets how things work (or not-work) around here.
