Some things are universal, like the appreciation of warm sun on one’s face after long days of rain, the sentiment behind a nod to the person who gives you a drink when you’re thirsty, and the glances that only a mother and daughter can share; but other things are so distinctly regional that you could only have been in one place on this earth.

Oh Mio Dio, Jacquie. This is *all* Reggio Emilia?! How utterly delicious and tantalizing and fab.
I love the eggie on the pizza-pie and the beautiful doorways and the biciclettas and the wine man with his casks and that beautiful cup of joseph. I wish I had that right now. I bet you do too, cara.
Thanks for the first taste. Can't wait for more!
Amo.
