Westy Dance Party

What happens when you get together with college friends you haven't seen in years?

Well, you drink a lot of wine.

Really, quite a lot of wine.
And then you leave Mike and Chrissie's beautiful home and all pile into the Westy.

The Westy is always up for a party.

Then you drink some more wine.

What's really fun is when you invite a really tall guy -- a neighbor you've never met before -- to join you, then give him the camera.

Really tall guys take hilarious photos from high above.
"Cheers, Tall Guy."

It was one of those magical nights when everyone was up and everyone was screaming laughing and everyone was dancing and everyone was having a blast.
The view from outside the Westy was pretty great, too.

Mark, Brian, Bill and Mike all lived in the same dorm together at UConn. Imagine that?

Chrissie, over there on the right, lived in the dorm too. I was at UConn at the same time but didn't know any of those bozos. Mary Beth and Kim came to this particular freak show a few years later.
We've vowed not to wait another 9 years to get together again.
The Westy Dance Party lasted until 3 a.m. and then we had a giant slumber party.

Great music, great friends, great wine, great food, a beautiful night.
That's what happens when get together with college friends you haven't seen in years.

Wow, was that tall guy in the NBA? Looks like he towers about 3 feet over the other guys. Or perhaps the others are midgets and I'd just never noticed. Looks like a purely great night, good for all of you!

Great pictures...but a little fuzzy. Hmmm... 3 comments:

1. Thank God MB wasn't giving us the finger in any of them.
2. I really resent being called a bozo.
3. What a great night - I couldn't have even imagined how fun it would be. Thanks.

This looks like every other night of your life from where I'm sitting. Or maybe it's just because I only get the hilarious highlights through the blog.

Aw Chrissie (sorry, I prefer that spelling), you're no bozo. You just hang out with bozos.

And *I*'m the bozo for not even mentioning the food! Which was SO yum.

Thanks for a rocking, raging good time.

Ellie, you are too funny. You are not allowed to spell someone's name according to your personal preference. What if we decided to start calling you Elly? Ellee? Or, better yet, Elli with a little heart to dot your i!

Jacquie (on behalf of misspelled names everywhere)

Now that looks like a party! Nice job Ellie + Bill.

And it seems to me that Ellie gets a kick out of changing people's names... I should know, as there are now at least 5 people who call me "Hsinny" (courtesy of Ellie).

Oh Shinny. Oh Jackie.

What can I tell you people? I spelled Chrissie "Chrissie" in my blog post. I can't now, all of a sudden, change it to Chrissy, can I? It would make me look like a liar. Or dumb.

And I'm a victim too. My friend Jennie only spells "Westy" as "Westie". For obvious reasons.

Oh Ellie (with a smiley face over the 'i'), you lead such a charmed life -- tall guys and wine? IN the Westie?

Aren't old friends the best?

It's just a damn shame that you didn't have any wine to drink or anything.
