Oh girls, what can I say? Life is so unexpected in the worst ways sometimes. I know you sisters are all there for each other, and for your mom, right now, and that you have a billion and one good memories of your dad. But still. Ach.

Love you both,
Beth

Gosh, words are hard to come by at this time. I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember your dad reading the paper, *trying* to mind his own business, in his hotel room during the wee hours of Jacquie's wedding festivities...I clearly stated to him as I ripped my very high heel shoes off, "my f***ing foot hurts!" hahaha And I'll always remember his kindness. I mean anyone else would have marched me out of the room, and he just smiled. (more like laughing at one of Jacquie's looney friends) I know you both miss him terribly like it's not real. My heart aches for you. xo

I am so sorry that my prayers were not enough.
You had an amazing dad who helped you become the amazing women that you and your sisters are.
I am so sorry that you didn't get to keep on loving on each other into his 90s and beyond. Some things just aren't fair...I know that all too well.
Thinking of you and the entire Corey family and sending you comforting thoughts!

Oh, I'm so sorry to read this. Your photos and words say it all. His face was lit up and it's obvious he was joyful to be all of these things in your life... a father, friend, grandfather... just a great guy.

Will be thinking of you this week.

Condolences to you and your families.

Oh, I'm so very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I grew to admire him from your posts. Obviously, he was a man to be admired and respected and loved, by his family, of course, but I know by others, too. You are all in my thoughts. I remember your posts, Ellie, explaining you had donated a kidney to your dad; that was a gift given and received in love that knows no bounds.
