Big day

My baby turned three yesterday!

Time flies. Sort of. At least when she is asleep....

Because it doesn't seem that long ago that she was just a wee, tiny 6-lb baby. But now she's getting leggy, growing out of that adorable baby fat, and into an active little girl. One thing that remains though, as you can clearly see below, is the good ol' Parnie gap.

Just for giggles I decided to include a photo of these two lassies at a 3rd birthday party....

Wow, they really look like they're having FUN!

Okay, back to the present. Not only was yesterday my baby's 3rd birthday, it was also her first day at a new preschool. The one that Jacquie runs with such aplomb.

My girls is a very lucky. That place is awesome, and she gets it. No tears were shed, and she was waiting at the door this morning to go back for day two.

But then she's a smart one. She understands that the facility is amazing and the teachers are pro-fessionals and that the director has got her back.

And c'mon, the food? Swoon. Here are two examples from the August menu:

--Lemon rosemary chicken breast, quinoa, raw veggies & dip & fresh fruit.
--Grilled salmon, mashed potatoes, veggies & fresh fruit.

Unbelievable, right?

Happy birthday, baby big girl. Love you!

Aw. Happy Birthday, Little Ms. C.! And congrats on your first (and second) day -- I *love* that place, and I know your sisters did too. As well as Jacquie's wee ones. What a fine tradition of awesomeness.

[Although sorry you have to be back at W-O-R-K, Jacquie.)

Hope you're celebrating Big, Elizabeth. After all, you did all the work.....

Love!
Ellie
