With dirty hands and worn out knees

So baby girl has fianlly done it! She has figured out how to get from point A to point B, by herself. As long as it does not involve wood floors. It's as if our wood floors are "hot lava." (Do/did your kids ever play that game?)

Anyway...she crawls!

And I'd like to point out that this, her very first crawling session, was motivated by a book (a completely commercial Disney book, but still), not by an ipod, or cell phone, or TV remote, like some other babies I know. (Kidding of course, Libby :-)

Don't you love how babies sprawl out at the end, as if they've just crossed some major finish line?

too cute!

You failed to mention that the said Disney book was associated with 2 "Big Girls" who she needs to impress :)

I'd sprawl out too, if I'd just worked that hard!

Well, she has! That is a major finish line!

I, too, love that the whole family was involved in this momentous event.

Well done, Little C! The world is now officially your oyster.

Go baby girl! Goodness, this year is flying by, isn't it? So proud of young Ms. C and her crawling prowess! I'm sure she will soon be motivated by an unbelievable variety of temptations, like electrical sockets and the dog food bowl. Ah, mobility! Enjoy the ride =)
